According to the Daily Star, the Arab-owned Manchester City aka the Chelsea of 2008, are preparing a €30 million dollar bid for Sevilla’s Brazilian striker, Luis Fabiano when the January transfer window reopens next year.
If the Julio Baptista lookalike (they do bear an uncanny resemblance.. admit it!) and his club agrees, Man City will have three Brazilian strikers on their squad, along with playmaker Elano. Sevilla rejected City’s previous offer for their hit man earlier this year, but why do we have a bad feeling this will go through?
Anyway, it was thanks to Robinho who (as we all know) loves to talk about his team mates playing in other leagues with (optional) ‘offers’ for them to join him. This is the same douche, after all, who called on his own press conference at Real Madrid when no one was listening.
