Bem Amigos! is a Brazilian TV show that discusses football in a fun and relaxed setting. Former guests include Felipe Massa and even Romario. Traditionally, the show is taped in the Brazil studios and musicians are invited to sing ‘Live’ during intervals.
However, this time around, Bem Amigos went a little ‘international’ and went to Milanello.
After watching the Thiago Silva and Pato episode, however, it looked like the two were being grilled by the guests in the studio. Former Brazilian midfielder, Falcão, was also present to share his thoughts along with seasoned football journalists.
Both spoke about the difficulties they faced playing in the cold weather. From the measly Portuguese we can understand, Silva admitted that things were ‘complicated’ at present for him. Pato cracked a joke about the Italian game and Kaka (in the beginning). He added that at he’s “doing his best”.

I’m not sure if you were looking for a translation! Sorry if I presumed wrong, but here’s the general gist:
“Pato cracked a joke about the Italian game and Kaka (in the beginning).”
When Kaka went to the show a while back, he told Galvão that Pato chats in English with Becks, and said they (the Bem Amigos folks) should ask him to answer stuff in English when he (Pato) came to the show. Pato laughs (“Kaká de sacanagem.”/ “Kaká is messing.”) and says he tries, but his English isn’t perfect.
Thiago talks about how hard it is to have to replace big names like Maldini at Milan and Juan/Lúcio at the Seleção. He says that his contract with Milan states that he’ll have a spot in the team to play by August at the latest. He also says Maldini is helping him out with positioning, that it’s totally different in Italian football from what he was used to in Brazil (Fluminense).
They talked about the tuberculosis that threatened his career (and life) in 2005, too. How doctors wanted to chop off a piece of his lung.
Pato slags off a cream (?) he’s been given that supposedly warms the feet when playing in cold weather. Says that he’s been using it for months, has tried two brands, and that when he’s about to go to bed or taking a shower, it’s like his feet are on fire, but that it never works in the actual field, during a game.
They asked him about playing only 8 minutes against Italy. He said he really wanted to play more, but that the players have to respect the coach’s decisions. (I thought he sounded a bit unhappy about it still.) He talks about having fond memories of the game and the goal he scored against Sweden, his first with the canarinho.
They talked about the Olympics and what went wrong. He gets a bit sheepish, admits he wasn’t playing well, thinks being the sole FW player increased his distance to the mid-field. He says in Milan he’s achieved more regularity (Falcão used to criticize him for playing one good game, then fading for three).
